OPEN INVITATION TO ALL CHOIRS THAT MAYBE INTERESTED TO TAKE PART IN THE ECONET HOLDINGS CHRISTMAS JINGLE CHORAL COMPETITION

We express our sincere gratitude to ECONET Zimbabwe for providing ZACMA with the opportunity to organize a choral competition. The competition will feature Econet’s jingle, with a creative twist: choirs will replace the Master H part with a Christmas-themed section, showcasing their ingenuity. There will just be regional competitions with NO finals meaning prizes will be distributed at regional level

TENTATIVE ROLL OUT PROGRAM      

  1. WORKSHOP

To discuss the competition format, set piece, and own choice piece

  1. 17 January 2025 (Harare Holliday Inn)
  2. Return transport from Bulawayo to Harare will be provided
  3. Each registered choir is required to send one representative
  4. Bulawayo Regional Competition
  5. 7 February (Large City Hall)
  6. Harare Regional Competition
  7. 14 February (Harare International School)
  8. Registrations (On first come first serve )
  9. Choirs to submit a register of all choristers & conductors in this format: Column 1: Full Names, 2: ID Number & 3: Contact Details
  10. This information should be submitted by the person who will represent the choir in all correspondence with the organizers.
  11. Submit to the regional head as below ,Southern Region to Mr B. Nkomo and Northern Region to Mr B. B. Kanyenze and would be requested to copy the ZACMA admin email address , admin@zacmazw.org
  12. Deadline for Submission is Wednesday 15 January 2025
